Shipping & Pickup (Oregon & Washington)

We want your beef to arrive cold and perfect. Here’s how we handle pickup and shipping for perishable orders.

Local Pickup (Preferred)
- Available at our partner processor or scheduled meetup points in Tillamook County, Portland Metro, and the Oregon Coast.
- We’ll email pickup details once your order is ready. Please bring coolers/ice packs if you have a longer drive.

Local Delivery (When Offered)
- Limited zip codes; minimum order may apply.
- We’ll coordinate a delivery window by email/text. If you’re not available at the agreed-upon time, a redelivery fee may be applicable.

Cold Shipping (OR & WA only, when available)
- We use insulated liners, gel packs, and/or dry ice depending on season and cut mix.
- We typically ship Mon–Wed to avoid weekend delays. Extreme heat/cold, or carrier issues, may cause a shift in your ship date.
- No P.O. Box. A street address and someone present to receive is best.

 *Dry Ice/Cold Pack Safety: Do not handle dry ice with bare hands. Ventilate if present. Once delivered, freeze or refrigerate immediately.

When Your Box Arrives
- Product should feel cold to the touch. If any item is fully thawed and warm, contact us within 4 hours with photos.
- Slight thawing at the surface can occur in transit; items can usually be safely refrozen if still cold.

Damages/Missing Items
- Email jeremy@ironwoodmeatcompany.com with your order number and photos of the box, insulation, label, and affected items within 4 hours of delivery.

Returns & Refunds (Perishables)
- We can’t accept returns on perishable food.  
- If carrier delays or damage compromise food safety, we’ll replace or refund affected items per our inspection process.

Order Changes & Cancellations
- Before shipment/pickup: email us and we’ll help if your order hasn’t been packed.  
- After shipment: we’re unable to reroute to P.O. Boxes or hold at FedEx locations unless arranged in advance.

- Oregon & Washington for cold shipping; Local pickup available in Tillamook County / Portland Metro / Oregon Coast.

Notes on Weights & Pricing
- All weights are approximate. Beef shares are billed by hanging weight. Final totals depend on the processor-recorded weight and any selected options.
